Shelter
Marcos Kuhne's first film, started while enrolled in San Francisco
City College, was finished with Sparker's editing and post experience
and equipment.
Marcos brought a gritty feel to this 10 minute short through his choice of Super-8mm
film for its grain.
The film characterizes the life of an idiosyncratic homeless man who,
in partnership with his blind grandfather sells drugs and plays the
congas in the subway station every day.
This film is available on DVD from Sparker Films.
